Principle of operation of durometers for fruit
The firmness of fruit pulp is very important for fruit traders.
By means of our BAXLO Firmness Tester for Fruits and Vegetables you can see the yielding of the fruit and obtain a valid indication of the most appropriate harvest time, controlling the ripeness of the fruit. It also helps the storekeeper to know the evolution of the maturation state of the stored fruit.
The use of our non-destructive Hardness Tester allows measurements that can’t be done by the classic fruit penetrometer that damages the fruit.
